The Merchant of Venice, a cultural luxury brand owned by the Venetian Vidal family, celebrates its first ten years in business this December. To celebrate the anniversary, the brand organised a gala event and some dedicated activities in Venice on 5 December, in which we participated with beauty editors from leading Italian publications.
An olfactory workshop at the Libreria Studium in Venice - held exclusively for the press by creative director Nicola Pozzani and perfumer Yann Vasnier - and an evening at the Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, were the occasion to recount these first ten years. But most of all they were a chance to look to the future by presenting the new fragrance of The Merchant of Venice dedicated to Maria Callas, an eau de parfum concentrèe created on behalf of the Maria Callas Estate Foundation to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the greatest soprano ever.
