Product. Packaging. Process. Following the dictates of its "Eco friendly" vision, Grisport has designed its first "green" sneaker. Called "Eco 3P," they’re part of the "CITY" line and they can be used in any sphere of everyday life. As for the "first" P (product), recycled and eco-friendly materials were used in the construction of the shoe on: part of the outer upper, inner lining, lace-up, inner insole and sole insert. The packaging ("second" P) is 100% recycled and recyclable with a patented self-assembling system to decrease bulk.
All this, in numbers, translates into 400 fewer trucks on the roads and, consequently, much fewer CO2 emissions. The last P, that of process, refers to the one used by Grisport. The headquarters, located in Castelcucco, in the province of Treviso, can count on an 840,000 Kw/h photovoltaic system, a separate waste collection system, water resource management, supplier certification and eco-compatible materials.
Also under the banner of sustainability are employee behavior and projects in the beautiful area where the company is based. Maximum care in recycling within departments, use of paper limited as much as possible in all production departments, and tableware made of recycled material for internal use.
Finally, Grisport’s attention to the environment also passes through the eco-sustainable certification of its suppliers.
